Austin Rogers is a 2nd-degree black belt in American Karate and an instructor at Rogers Martial Arts in Van Alstyne, Texas. He started training at the Texas Karate Institute in Richardson at just three and a half years old, growing up in the martial arts alongside his father, Brant Rogers. Austin has been an integral part of Rogers Martial Arts since the day it opened, teaching classes about twice a week. On the other days, he trains at an MMA gym alongside two UFC champions — studying MMA, full-contact kickboxing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, and judo. That real fight experience brings a modern, practical edge to the traditional American Karate taught at Rogers Martial Arts.
