Brant Rogers

Brant Rogers is a 9th-degree black belt in American Karate and the founder of Rogers Martial Arts in Van Alstyne, Texas. He began training in 1982 under Richard Morris at Meadowbrook Karate Studio in Fort Worth — a direct student of J. Pat Burleson, the originator of American Karate. Brant earned his black belt on April 12, 1986, and has been teaching martial arts since 1984, including years at the Texas Karate Institute in Richardson. On January 9, 2020, he opened Rogers Martial Arts to bring authentic, lineage-based American Karate to Van Alstyne and the surrounding Grayson County area — offering kids karate, adult martial arts, and self-defense classes for all ages and skill levels.
